We spent last week at Road America at the MG Vintage Racers Focus Event.

Tuesday was an MG-only Track Talk with Kent Prather followed by a Lead/Follow session and then three Test & Tune sessions. A great way to learn a new track!

Wednesday was a day off for me (it was an extra cost practice day). Thursday was also a practice day, followed by practice/qualifying on Friday and racing Saturday & Sunday. The weather was record breaking hot. Even some rain on Friday didn't help much - just increased the humidity.

Saturday evening was the MGVR dinner. After dinner we were regaled with stories from Race Chairman Brian Redman and guests David Hobbs & Burt 'BS' Levy.

Road America is huge! The track is >4 miles/lap. And the paddock goes on & on & on.

4 minute video of one lap of Tuesday's Lead/Follow session:

Longer (but boring) video of Sunday's all-MG race (basically me in 11th place chasing but never catching Steve Nicholas' MGB)
