 Numbers and roundels for a newly prepared car

Rick,

I'm sort of on the same page with you as far as a VRG car (club) number is concerned. From Ralph's Logbook procedure post:

2) If you are applying for your vehicles logbook you have to do four
things, become a VRG member, obtain a VRG Car Number for your car (which is
not the same as your logbook number) before the application is sent in to
actually obtain your first VRG logbook...


I know that some organizations offer permanent numbers, but I wasn't aware that VRG issued car numbers. I'm thinking perhaps it means that the cars are accounted for, in some fashion, and issued a number in the order they join the club? Said number not actually being the number stuck to the side of the car? So, I'll second your query about this. No worries if you don't know Mack, I can ask Ralph. Still have to do that logbook stuff anyways...
