Eric:

If the light comes on you are good to go. Just make sure that your transponder number is on your entry form. T&S uses that unique number to enter your transponder with your name and car number into the T&S computer. If you haven't done that then contact Jim Karamanis and he can add your new number.

Question about a transponder. I have a second hand unit. The previous owner 'released' it. I have registered it in my name at MyLaps.com

I have it mounted in the right front wheel well, wired to the ignition circuit & the LED comes on when the ignition is on.

Anything else I need to do?

The only other thing is to associate it with your profile on Motorsportsreg.com, which I see you have already done. You should be good to go.

Thank you for the update on track opening. I plan on being at the gate at 6:00 PM. Need to get set up and bed early.
It is going to be a full 5 days of the most exciting thing I have ever done!
Sorry its so long acknowledging your response. Been a long tough week and i have not been online much.
See you there

Anyone want to meet somewhere for dinner prior to arrival at SP Tuesday evening? Any suggestions for a restaurant with a large enough parking lot to allow those of us towing to get in/out?

I plan on being near the track by around 5 if all goes well I would be interested in meeting somewhere. I have no clue where though? It's my first time there and I will have my 40 foot RV and 20 ft trailer so as you said someplace with a big parking lot.

Browsing Google maps shows there are some restaurants at exit 317 from I-81. There is a mall type area which has a large parking area that should be able to accomodate RV's towing a trailer.

There is a Cracker Barrel at exit 313. They usually can accomodate RV's/trailers.

That would probably work. I am going on to exit 321 and taking a back way in. There is a railroad crossing gong in from the north I was advised to stay away from. It is really crowned and RVs have gotten hung up on it. So if we were to meet at 317 it would probably be around 4:30 for me?

I'm estimating about 5:00 pm for us. Driving a class C motorhome, towing an open trailer with red MGA.

Cell phone 336 266 0254

Anyone else?
