I sent a note to the VRG BOD and wanted to put online for additional comments and feedback. As many of you know, when I created the FFCS there was a lot of discrepancy on how series points model should work as it goes against certain VRG mission statements. My concern here is that we are allowing a NEW series to run within VRG, BUT WE ARE MIXING THEM INTO REGULAR RUN GROUPS. Considering the 2018 (year from he!@#$) number of incidents, etc.. I would like to understand how VRG plans to integrate a race series into our mix. Here is my note ...
---------------------------------------------------------------- Has anyone on the BOD taken into consideration that the S2000 is running a ‘for points’ race series (I know as I am looking to run with them in 2019). Since VRG is promoting for the VS2 NA group to run more and more with VRG, outside of the J500 where they get a dedicated run group, these cars are mixed with regular VRG participants in many of the events below. I believe this to cause an core underlying conflict that should be addressed and am looking to our leadership for ‘HOW’ this will work under the VRG sanctioning and mix group model. I will post this note on the forum, but wanted to ensure the message was directly received as well by VRG leadership.

Chris, when a Sports 2000 enters a VRG event, they run under the same rules as every other car that races with VRG. A sports 2000 has been VRG eligible for many years. They have always been well behaved and have raced to the letter of our rules. It's been this way for years. We welcome their participation!

Thank you for the response ...
I look forward to running in the Vs2 race series, and am happy that they have VRG as a core sanctioning group. Just wanted to be sure 'racing' and Vs2 rules were in effect at these events as I plan a path to the podium.
