I have spoken with event chair Charles Bordin. He is eager to spread the word that VRG members are welcome to enter the VSCCA's event at Lime Rock May 31/June 1, 2019. Unfortunately the only cars they'd be unlikely to grid are the Formula Fords.

I would like to join the event of the oldest automotive preservation club in America, unfortunately I could not join yet. If anyone please suggest me what to do I shall be grateful . This is going to be a game changer moment for me as I am very passionate about VSCCA.

There are a few non-VSCCA vintage racing events at Lime Rock scheduled for 2020. The Labor Day weekend event will be co-sanctioned by VSCCA & VRG. The Memorial Day weekend event is sanctioned by SVRA. And there are likely a few VSCCA events that you could enter if your car meets their eligibility requirements.

As for joining the VSCCA, I have not checked recently but many years ago one had to be nominated by a current member. And one's race car has to meet their eligibility requirements (pre-'59 for one).

The Empire Club / VSCCA / HRG event at Lime Rock on May 29-30, 2020 has been moved to July 24-25, 2020. Entries are currently being accepted for the two full race groups, VSCCA and HRG as well as two track day, intermediate and advanced, groups. Formula Fords, like in past years, will not have a group but we will be able to find a place for sports racers and production based, fully prepped race cars, up to 1983.

The application is here - https://historicracinggroup.com/resourc ... 202020.pdf

Contact me mike harmuth ofracer@gmail.com for any HRG questions and Charles Bordin cbordin123@aol.com with any event / track group info.

thanks
mike h
