Hello all
I’m very thankful and extremely grateful to be writing my first POST.Thank you for the opportunity to join VRG and I look forward to meeting some members.
I have NO vintage racing experience,I know the learning curve will take time and patience but looking forward to any suggestions or support from all members.
Im from IRELAND and have grown up with stage rallying with my brother competing in a Classic MINI 1340,I’ve navigated for him on occasions when I return to IRELAND.I have purchased a vintage racer,no garage so have been fettling over a canopy but that’s ok just grateful for a 25 yrdream to come thru.thank you again for the opportunity to join VRG. Sterling Moss has been a beacon for me so in the year he passed away I decided to purchase a car as I guess a little tribute to him.
GOD SPEEED racing
Maurice (mossy)

Hello, Maurice. Welcome to the asylum!

Nice looking MGB. Do you have your competition license? If not, I can highly recommend VRG's Driver School.

No I do not have a competition licence, yes my goal is to sign up and complete the next VRG school but I may miss it as it looks like the spaces will be limited as last year’s signed up members will have first spots.I’m ok with that but would Live if possibly VRG could do an additional class or possibly an additional class over 2 sessions so ALL can be accommodated and racing can then start in earnest.

Have you been in touch with VRG for the Drivers School? I believe they are taking names for a wait list - in case any of last year's hopefuls withdraw.

VSCCA has a driver school May 7-8 at Lime Rock, CT. https://www.vscca.org/vscca-events

SVRA license info: (I suspect these would be the priciest options...) https://svra.com/competitors/approved-driver-schools/
